This is an 18K rose gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre a Chronographe 600.2.28.S. It includes an alligator leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals (domed on the dial) with anti-reflective coatings. There is a rectangular chronograph push button at 2 o'clock, a pull-out signed winding crown, and the case back is secured with 4 screws with an exhibition sapphire display, and it's engraved "JAEGER-LECOULTRE – DUOMETRE A CHRONOGRAPHE – 5 ATM – SWISS MADE," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The recessed triple-tier silver grained time dial has applied rose gold Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, black stick hour indices, and rose gold feuille leaf hands. The "dual wing" is powered by 2 separate mechanisms that drive the double features of the watch. There is a triple-tier silver grained progressive minute sub dial at 3 o'clock with black Arabic numerals and markers with a combined 12-hour chronograph totalizer, a blued indicator hand, and an arched digital minute aperture window inset with jumping seconds with JLC's "jumping stop second" system that affords precision of up to 1/6th of a second when setting the time. It has two center sweep second hands, one in rose gold for the "lightning seconds," and one that's blued for the chronograph functions. There is a smaller round recessed foudroyante dial for the seconds with a blued indicator hand and zero reset. There are twin power reserve indicators including a rose gold lever at 7 o'clock, and a blued chronograph lever at 5 o'clock. Around the raised tier perimeter are black Arabic numerals every 5 seconds to 60 outside a black 1/6 of-a-second scale. The caliber 380 is displayed in a rose gold arched plate at 6 o'clock. It has a power reserve of 50-hours at full winding, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 13.6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre a Chronographe 600.2.20.28.S has a mechanical manual winding caliber 380A column wheel chronograph movement. It's German silver with rhodium plated parts, and a hand-decorated "sunray" Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 40 jewels, 445 components, heat-blued steel screws, duo spring barrels and power trains, and an anti-shock system. It includes a straight-line escapement, a monometallic balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). This watch was released in 2010 in a limited edition of 300 examples.
