More about Master Ultra Thin Moon 18K Rose Gold

This is an 18K rose gold Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon phase, Q1362520. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold tang buckle. The solid 39mm diameter three-body case, bezel, push/pull crown, and downturned lugs are polished. There is a sapphire crystal display case back. The dial is ivory with rhodium-plated gold dart hour marker indexes, dauphine hands, a central sweeps seconds hand, and dot minute markers around the outer ring. The moon phase subsidiary dial with the days of the month surrounding it is at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet), and it has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind. The automatic self-winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 925 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 30 jewels, 246 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance adjusted for 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). It has a single barrel, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a shock absorber mechanism, a hacking seconds mechanism, and the 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. After World War II, in 1946, Jaeger LeCoultre began concentrating on round, automatic watches that were the forerunners to the Master Control line. In 1992 the first Master Control watches debuted and the caliber passed a six-week, 1000-hour series of tests that became the benchmark examination for all JLC timepieces.
