The solid case-back carries the 1959 frogman motif featuring a diver surrounded by bubbles. It has an operating indicator for the chronograph at 12 o'clock below the Jaeger LeCoultre logo, a recessed 30-minute subsidiary dial at 3 o'clock, a recessed hour sub dial at 9 o'clock, and one for small seconds at 6. It's water resistant to 100 meters, it has a power reserve of 65-hours at full wind, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's constructed with 47 jewels, 340 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph.
