Kari Voutilainen Retrograde Date 217QRS, Produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Manfredi Jewels and limited to only 8 pieces in stainless steel (a metal not often used in his watches), the stainless steel case features vintage inspired tear drop lugs, on an alligator strap with a matching stainless steel tang buckle, fully in-house and hand finished manual wind movement based off of their Vingt-8 caliber featuring a unique take on the retrograde date complication - instead of the hand snapping back to "1", the blued hand glides back gracefully over a few seconds, 65-hour power reserve, silvered dial combining three different textures of hand-done Guilloche, hobnail for the hour markers, waves in the center, and a crosshatch for the small seconds, blue small seconds indicator at 6 o'clock is unique to this watch, applied frosted white gold Arabic numeral hour markers with red dot accents at each of the quarter hours - also unique to this watch, observatory-style hands with blue accents, retrograde date display with a straight hand on the inner dial, sapphire crystal, display back, water resistant, diameter: 39mm, thickness: 11.5mm, Unworn with special presentation box, coffee table book, and papers dated July of 2019.

This is a stainless steel Kari Voutilainen 217QRS. It has a dark blue alligator leather strap with a matching stainless steel tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating. It has a coin edge winding crown that also acts as a date pusher. The exhibition sapphire crystal case back is secured with 6 screws, and it's engraved with "MANFREDI JEWELS, 30TH ANNIVERSARY, VOUTILAINEN," hallmarks, and a serial number. The 39mm diameter solid three-body case, tear-drop lugs, and domed bezel, are polished. It has a gray guilloche dial with a blue small seconds indicator at 6 o'clock, applied white gold Arabic numeral hour markers, with the 12 o'clock being red, and white gold and blue steel hands. There is a retrograde in the center of the dial showing the odd numbers in Arabic numerals, and a blue indicator hand. It has a 65-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Kari Voutilainen Retrograde Date 217QRS has a mechanical manual winding in house movement based off of their Vingt-8 caliber. It's German silver with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, perlage, and polished screw heads. It's constructed with 39 jeweles, a direct impulse escapement, free sprung balace, spiral and rose gold timing weights. . The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (3 Hz). The Kari Voutilainen Retrograde Date was introduced in 2018 in a limited series of 30 pieces world wide.
