This is an 18k white gold Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Salmon UNIQUE. It includes a blue alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed pull out winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws and it's engraved with "VOUTILAINEN – AU750," hallmarks and a serial number. The 39mm diameter round solid 2-body case, teardrop lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. The dial is copper/salmon-toned with three separate hand-tuned guilloche patterns including a sunray in the center, a hobnail reserve for the applied white gold Arabic numerals at the quarter hours and baton hour indices, and the small constant running seconds subsidiary dial has a cross-hatched center with a copper reserve and an observatory-style indicator hand. There are large white gold observatory hour and minute hands with blued indicator rings, and there is a brushed perimeter raised tier rehaut with black minute/second divisions. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Salmon UNIQUE has a mechanical maually wound Voutilainen caliber 28 double wheel escapement movement originally created by Breguet. It's hand finished ruthenium and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, a Breguet Overcoil, and a free-sprung self-compensating balance. The Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Salmon UNIQUE was released in 2021.
