More about Speedmaster 1957 Trilogy Limited Edition 2915
This is a 2017 stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Chronograph 1957 Trilogy 311.10.39.30.01.001. It has a stainless steel link bracelet with a folding deployment clasp and a retro Omega logo, two extra straps with a strap replacement tool, and a domed hesalite crystal. It has round "pushrod" chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "SPEEDMASTER – 60TH ANNIVERSARY – LIMITED EDITION," and with the Speedmaster logo. The 38.6mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, bracelet, and flat bezel with black engraved tachymeter to 300 UPH, are polished/brushed. It has a matte black "tropical" dial with vintage cream-colored lume on the baton hour markers, silver-toned steel broad arrow hands with luminous inserts, a steel center sweep second hand, and there is a luminous minute/second scale around the perimeter. It has three "pie pan" recessed black subsidiary dials with white Arabic markers, numerals, and sword-shaped indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock. It's a Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Chronograph 1957 Trilogy 311.10.39.30.01.001 has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 1861 (base Lemania 1873) movement. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Omega Speedmaster 1957 Trilogy 220.10.39.30.01.001 was introduced in 2017 in a limited edition of 3557 examples. It's a 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three classic timepieces released in 1957 - The Railmaster, Seamaster, and the 1957 Speedmaster watches.
