More about Speedmaster '57 Co-Axial Chronograph
This is a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster '57 331.10.42.51.01.002. It has an integral stainless steel bracelet with a hidden Omega deployment clasp, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti reflective treatment on both sides. It has round "mushroom-style" chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "OMEGA – SPEEDMASTER '57." The 41.5mm diameter solid three-body case, bracelet, hooded lugs, and flat bezel with a black tachymeter scale to 1000 UPH, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with recessed baton hour markers that are partially filled with green glowing Super-LumiNova, including the luminous rhodium plated "broad arrow" style hands. It has a center sweep second hand, and around the perimeter is a luminous minute/fraction-of-a-second scale. A date aperture window is at the 6 o'clock position, and there are twin recessed black subsidiary dials with Arabic numerals and rhodium plated indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and there is a 12/60-hour chronograph totalizer at 3 o'clock. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100m/330ft. This is the iconic Omega timepiece that was worn on all six lunar missions, and there is a 60-hour power reserve at full winding. The 15.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster '57 331.10.42.51.01.002 has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 9300 column wheel co-axial chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Geneva waves in Arabesque. It's constructed with 54 jewels, a vertical clutch, 2 barrels mounted in series, and an Si14 silicon balance-spring on a free sprung-balance. It has automatic winding in both directions, a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions, 54 jewels, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Omega Speedmaster '57 331.10.42.51.01.002 was introduced in 2015.
