This is a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Snoopy Award Limited Edition 3578.51.00. It has a stainless steel bracelet with a fold over clasp, and a hesalite crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back with an applied Snoopy on a blue plate and "Eyes on the Stars" under a resin coating. Engraved in black on the outer ring of the case back is "OMEGA; The Moon Watch; Snoopy Award; Limited Editon" and a limited edition number. There is a fixed, polished black bezel with a graduated tachymeter to 500 UPH, round chronograph pushbuttons, and a winding crown with the Omega logo protected by crown guards. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case and lyre lugs are polished/brushed. The dial is black with superluminova baton hour markers around a minute/one-fifth seconds perimeter scale, luminous baton hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand with a luminous arrow tip. There are three subsidiary dials including a constant small seconds register at the 9 o'clock position, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial is at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/167 feet, and it has a power reserve of 48-hours at full wind. The 14.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 1861 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Omega Speedmaster Snoopy Award Limited Edition was released in to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Silver Snoopy award presented to NASA astronauts.
