This is a titanium Panerai Regatta 1/8th Second Rattrapante Chronograph Titanio PAM00343. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel Panerai deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has round chronograph push buttons, a screw down fluted cone-shaped signed winding crown with a split-second pusher on the top, and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 4 screws and engraved with "CLASSIC YACHTS CHALLENGE – 2010 – AUTOMATIC – TITANIUM," and a hallmark. The 47mm cushion-shaped solid three-body case, polished removable wire loop lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. It has a black dial with luminous baton hour indices and Arabic numerals at the half hours. It has luminous baton hands, a distinctive bright blue center sweep chronograph hand, and a an outer 60-minute scale with luminous white markings and Arabic numerals every five minutes/seconds. It has two recessed black subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and luminous "propeller" style indicator hands, including a one-second foudroyante register that jumps in 1/8th second increments at 9 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer and radial knot counter at the 3 o'clock position with a blue indicator hand. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 18mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Regatta 1/8th Second Rattrapante Chronograph Titanio PAM00343 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP XXI (base ETA 7750) movement. It's rhodium plated with circular graining and Cotes de Geneve embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 40 jewels, a monometallic Glucydur balance, and an Incabloc anti-shock device. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Panerai Regatta 1/8th Second Rattrapante Chronograph Titanio PAM00343 was introduced in a limited edition to 500 examples to celebrate the 2010 Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge.
