It includes an 18k white gold case with an alligator leather strap, a18k white gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a flip-up winding crown on the solid screw-down case back which is in excellent original factory condition. The 35mm diameter solid two-body case, straight angled lugs, and stepped convex/flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The original blue dial has applied white gold polished baton hour indices, pointed white gold hour and minute hands with luminous fill, and a gold center sweep second hand with a wedge counterbalance. It has a water resistance of 30 meters/100 feet, and the ultra-thin 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This 1970 Patek Philippe Calatrava 3569/1 has a mechanical manual peripheral winding Patek Philippe caliber 350 movement. It’s rhodium plated with perlage embellishment and it’s constructed with 28 jewels, a seal of Geneva hallmark, and an anti-shock system. It includes a monometallic free-sprung Gyromax balance that’s adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions, a peripherical rotor, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3hz). Introduced in 1969, it was an alternative to the blossoming Japanese quartz movements. The Patek Philippe Calatrava 3569/1 was introduced in 1970 and was the first peripheral winding watch.
