More about Nautilus 3770 Ellipse SS / 18K Quartz

This is a stainless-steel and 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Nautilus Ellipse 3770/1JA. It includes an integral stainless-steel and 18k yellow gold link bracelet with a folding deployment buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down signed winding crown with crown guards, and there is a snap down solid case back. The 36mm by 42mm oval solid two-body case, upwardly curved hooded lugs, bracelet, and 18k yellow gold oval convex bezel, are polished/satin. The cream dial has applied gold faceted "boat-shape" hour indices with luminous end pips, gold dagger hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, and there is a perimeter gold pip minute scale. The 6.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Nautilus Ellipse 3770/1JA has an electronic Patek Philippe caliber E27 quartz movement that's constructed with 6 jewels and Cotes de Geneve embellishment on the over bridge. The movement is standardized for supreme accuracy. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ellipse 3770/1JA was introduced in the 1980's, and it's also nicknamed the "Nautillipse" because of its styling somewhere between an ellipse and a Nautilus. It was the first Nautilus to have an ultra-thin quartz movement.
