It has a pull-out winding crown set with a sapphire cabochon, and a solid snap down case back. There is a corrector for the moon phase function on the left-side case band at 8 o'clock. The 29mm diameter round solid two-body case, slightly downturned scalloped lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. The dial is slate grey sunburst with 12 fine white chaton-set diamond hour markers and applied white gold Arabic numerals at the half hours around a white minute perimeter scale, and it has fat white gold feuille leaf hour and minute hands. There is a white recessed grey subsidiary dial with a white ring, black markers, and a white gold leaf indicator hand between 8 and 9 o'clock, and there is a recessed hemispherical moon phase subsidiary dial between the 4 and 5 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, it has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 4857G has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philipppe caliber 16-250 PS LU movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, a moon phase module, and it's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber system, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a Gyromax monometallic balance that compensates for temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
