This is an 18K rose gold Patek Philippe Calatrava "Hausmann 225th Anniversary" 5296R-016. It includes an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed pull-out winding crown and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back with hallmarks underneath the lugs. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. The grey sunburst dial has a large applied gold Roman Numeral at 12 o'clock and applied faceted 18K rose gold "boat-shaped" hour index markers surrounded by a perimeter gold pip minute/seconds scale. It includes gold dauphine sword hour and minute hands, a gold center sweep second hand with a wedge counterbalance, and there is a gold framed date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 45-hour power reserve at full winding, and the case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 5296R-016 has a mechanical Patek Philippe automatic winding caliber 324 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it includes the Patek Philippe stamp of quality mark. It's constructed with 29 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and a signed 21K gold rotor printed with "HAUSMAN & CO – 1794-2019." The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Patek Philippe Calatrava 5296R-016 was introduced in 2019 in a limited edition of only 50 examples to commemorate the Hausmann & Co. watchmaker's 225th anniversary.
