This is an 18k white gold Richard Mille Manual Winding Split Seconds Chronograph RM004 V2. It includes an 18k white gold case on a rubber strap with a white gold deployment buckle and scratch resistant glare-proofed sapphire crystals (curved over the dial). It has an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 five-point star screws and it’s engraved with “RICHARD MILLE – SWISS MADE – WATER RESISTANT 50M – 18K – 750,” hallmarks and a serial number. It has a rubber clad screw-down circular winding crown, and three, polished trapezoidal push buttons on the case band, including one at 8 o’clock that starts/stops the chronograph, another at 10 o’clock for resetting the hands, and a third that stops the split-second hand to read an intermediate time measurement with the chronograph remaining engaged, while pushing it once more the split-seconds hand rejoins the chronograph. The 39.7mm by 48mm curved 18k white gold case, hooded screwed lugs, and curved wide flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is skeletonized bark-textured carbon nanofiber with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and pip indices around a black perimeter base 700 tachymeter with 300 UPH in white Arabic numerals surrounded by a perimeter white minute/second scale. It includes fat skeletonized, titanium pointed minute and hour hands with luminous inserts, and a grey titanium center sweep chronograph second hand with a white/red arrow tip and a wedge-shaped counterbalance. A three-function indicator is at the 4 o’clock position. It’s water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding without the chronograph engaged, and the 15.05mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It’s constructed with 37 jewels, a monometallic Elinvar balance spring by Nivarox, a KIF Elastor KE 160 B28 shock system, and a Glucydur monometallic anti-magnetic balance.
