This is a 1999 stainless-steel Rolex Ladies DateJust 68240. It includes a stainless-steel case on an integral stainless-steel link Jubilee bracelet with a folding deployment clasp and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a signed screw down Twinlock winding crown and a solid screw down case back. The 31mm diameter oyster-shaped monobloc middle case, bracelet, and flat angled fixed bezel, are polished/satin. The dial is blue sunburst with applied faceted steel baton hour markers with luminous end pips surrounded by a luminous white perimeter railway-style hour/minute/second scale with Roman numeral hour indices. It includes steel baton hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep second hand, and there is a quickset date aperture window with a cyclops magnification lens at the 3 o'clock position. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Ladies DateJust 68240 has a mechanical automatic Rolex caliber 2135 movement. It' rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment, and it's constructed with 29 jewels, a shock absorber protector, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Rolex Ladies DateJust 68240 was introduced in the 1990's.
