This is an 18k white gold Ulysse Nardin 160th Anniversary 1600-100. It includes an 18k white gold ovoid case on an alligator leather strap with an 18K white gold double folding deployment buckle and anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a fluted signed pull-out winding crown with a blue enamel anchor logo and a rose gold screwed plate on the left-side case band with an engraved edition number. There is a recessed fan-shaped darker blue field at 12 o’clock with vertical Cotes de Geneve texture and a white gold Ulysse Nardin name plate with the anchor logo. The 43mm by 40.5mm oval solid three-body case, curved fluted lugs, and wide flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is medium blue with wide dauphine hour and minute hands with luminous fill and applied white gold Arabic numeral hour markers around the perimeter. It includes a double large date aperture window between 1 and 2 o’clock, an ovoid two-screw white gold ringed blue constant running small seconds aperture at 6 o’clock with a recessed dark blue fan field with vertical Cotes de Geneve texture, and twin thin blued screw horizontal plates marked “chronometer” at 9 o’clock, and “1846-2006” at the 3 o’clock position. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer rating, and it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding. It’s water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 11.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin 160th Anniversary 1600-100 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin caliber UN160 movement. It’s rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it’s constructed with 52 jewels, an anti-shock system, a monometallic balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4hz). The Ulysse Nardin 160th Anniversary 1600-100 was released in 2006 in a limited edition of 500 examples to celebrate the company’s 160th Anniversary.
