This is a stainless steel Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer Diver 1846 263-33. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a stainless steel double folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a solid screw-down case back engraved with the 18 gold medals internationally won by Ulysse Nardin, and a screw-down winding crown with a crown guard. The 42.7mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned & faceted lugs, and uni-directional rotating bezel with Arabesque wave pattern and raised steel Arabic numeral dive times to 60 minutes, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with a dimpled pattern. It has applied luminous faceted trapezoid steel hour markers, and thick pointed skeleton baton hands with luminous inserts. There is a minute track around the perimeter, and a white ringed constant seconds subsidiary dial with "1846" in red letters at 6 o'clock, which is combined with a round date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position. A white ringed power reserve sub dial with red letters and a red hand is at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. It's a Certified Offical Swiss Chronometer (COSC), and the 12.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer Diver 1846 263-33 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin caliber UN 26 (base ETA caliber 2892A2) movement. It has oeil de perdrix and fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 28 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
