The 40mm diameter solid three-body round case, curved fluted lugs, and convex bezel, are polished. It has a silver guilloche wave-patterned dial with applied faceted gold hour indices and luminous end pips around a black minute/second scale. Around the perimeter is a GMT second time zone 24-hour scale with black Arabic numerals, indicated by a thin blued third hand with a luminous arrow pointer. It had blued feuille leaf hands, and there is a silver round recessed subsidiary dial with black Arabic numerals, markers, and a blued indicator hand for the constant small running seconds at 9 o'clock. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. It has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and a rotor with the blue enamel Ulysse Nardin logo. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
