This is an 18K yellow gold vintage c. 1950's Vacheron Constantin Manual Wind 6069. It includes an alligator leather strap with a gold tang buckle and an acrylic crystal. It has a pull-out winding crown and a solid screw down case back. The inside of the case back is engine turned and engraved with "VACHERON CONSTANTIN" and several hallmarks. The 32mm diameter solid two-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat bezel are polished. The original dial is silver with gold applied dart shaped hour indices on the quarter hours, gold stick baton hour markers, and there is an applied gold Maltese Cross logo at 12 o'clock. It has pointed gold thin baton hour and minute hands, and a center sweep second hand with an ovoid counterbalance. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Vacheron Constantin Manual Wind 6069 has a mechanical manual winding Vacheron Constantin caliber K1002 movement. It's rhodium plated, and it's constructed with 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance adjusted to temperature. It includes a shock absorber device, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a swan neck micrometer index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). The Vacheron Constantin Manual Wind 6069 was introduced in the 1950's.
