It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel deployment buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coatings. It has a screw down signed winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws, engraved with "ZENITH GRANDE CLASS – WATER RESISTANT 50M – 03 0520 685 – SWISS MADE – STAINLESS STEEL," and an edition number. The 44mm diameter round solid two-body case, curved lugs, and flat stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with silver-toned applied Arabic numeral hour markers on the even hours and applied faceted dart hour indices on the odd hours. It has a perimeter black minute scale, and polished baton hour and minute hands. There is a recessed silver subsidiary dial at the 9 o'clock position with black Arabic numerals and markers, and a polished indicator hand for the running small constant seconds. It has a power reserve arch between 1 and 2 o'clock with black/red Arabic numerals, markers, and a polished indicator hand. There is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 Meters/165 feet, it has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Zenith Grande Elite 03.0520.6850 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Zenith caliber 685 movement. It's rhodium plated with perlage and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 38 jewels, a shock absorber system, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Zenith Grande Elite 03.0520.6850 was introduced in the 2000's.
